E-Mail

The responsible entity is the natural or legal person who, on their own or with others, makes decisions regarding the purposes and means involved in the processing of personal data (e.g. name, e-mail addresses, and similar information).

Withdrawing your consent to data processing:

Many data processing activities are possible only with your express consent. You can withdraw consent that you have previously provided at any time. An informal e-mail sent to us is sufficient. The legality of the data processing that has been carried out prior to withdrawal remains unaffected by the withdrawal.

Right to object to the collection of data in special cases and to direct advertising (Art. 21 GDPR):

If data are processed on the basis of Art. 6 Sec. 1 lit e) or f) GDPR, you have the right, due to reasons arising from your particular situation, to object to the processing of your personal data; the same applies to profiling on the basis of these provisions. The respective legal basis on which processing is based can be found in this privacy statement. If you file an objection, we will no longer process your affected personal data unless we are able to provide compelling and legitimate reasons for the processing that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims (objection pursuant to Art. 21 Sec. 1 GDPR).

Right to submit a complaint to the relevant supervisory authority:

In case of infringements against the GDPR, those affected have the right to file a complaint to a supervisory authority, particularly in the Member State in which they usually reside or work, or in the location in which the suspected infringement occurred. The right to file a complaint exists irrespective of other administrative or judicial remedies.

Right to data portability:

You have the right to have data that we automatically process on the basis of your consent or to fulfil a contract issued to you or to a third party in a conventional, machine-readable format. If you request that the data be transferred to another responsible party, this will be done only to the extent that it is technically feasible.

SSL and TLS encryption:

This website uses SSL and TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transfer of confidential content, such as orders or enquiries which you send to us as the website operator. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock icon in your browser line.

When the SSL or TLS encryption is enabled, the data that you send to us cannot be read by third parties.

Information, blocking, deletion and correction:

You have the right at any time, within the applicable legal provisions, to obtain information at no cost regarding your stored personal data, its origin and recipients and the purpose of data processing and, where applicable, the right to have these data corrected, blocked or deleted. You can contact us regarding these and other questions relating to personal data anytime at the address provided in the legal notice.

You have the right to request that the processing of your personal data be limited. You can contact us regarding this anytime at the address provided in the legal notice. You have a right to limit processing in the following cases:

If you dispute the accuracy of your personal data we have stored, we usually need time to review this. You have the right to request that the processing of your personal data be limited for the duration of the review.

If the processing of your personal data was/is done illegally, you can request that data processing be limited rather than that the data be deleted.

If we no longer require your personal data but you need it to exercise, defend or assert legal claims, you have the right to request that the processing of your personal data be limited rather than that it be deleted.

If you have filed an objection pursuant to Art. 21 Sec. 1 GDPR, your interests must be weighed against ours. You have the right to request that the processing of your personal data be limited as long as it has yet to be determined whose interests will take precedence.

If you have limited the processing of your personal data, these data – apart from their storage – may be processed only with your consent or to assert, exercise or defend legal claims, or to protect the rights of another natural or legal person or for reasons of substantial public interest on the part of the European Union or a Member State.

The use of contact details published as part of our duty to provide legal notice for the purpose of sending advertising and information materials that are not expressly requested is hereby rejected. The website operators expressly reserve the right to take legal action if unsolicited advertising materials such as spam e-mails are sent.

4. Data collection on our website

Cookies:

This website uses cookies in some cases. Cookies do not damage your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies serve to make our website more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer and stored by your browser.

Most of the cookies we use are what are known as ‘session cookies’. They are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. These cookies allow us to recognise your browser the next time you visit our website.

You can configure your browser so you are notified when cookies are set and allow cookies only in individual cases, refuse to accept cookies for certain cases or in general, as well as have cookies automatically deleted when you close the browser. Disabling cookies can limit the functionality of this website.

Cookies that are necessary to carry out the electronic communication process or provide certain features that you need (e.g. the shopping basket feature) are stored on the basis of Art. 6 Sec. 1 lit. f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the storage of cookies in order to provide their services in an optimised manner that is free of technical errors. If other cookies (e.g. cookies to analyse your browsing behaviour) are saved, these are addressed separately in this privacy statement.

Server log files:

The provider of this website automatically collects and stores information in what are called server log files, which your browser automatically transfers to us. These consist of:

  • browser type and browser version
  • operating system used
  • referrer URL
  • host name of the computer accessing the site
  • time of the server enquiry
  • IP address

These data are not combined with other data sources.

These data are collected on the basis of Art. 6 Sec. 1 lit. f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in presenting their website without any technical errors and optimising their website; the server log files must be collected for this purpose.

Contact form:

If you send us enquiries via the contact form, we store the information you send to us in the contact form, including the contact details you provide there, for the purpose of processing your enquiry and addressing any follow-up queries. We do not share these data without your consent.

The data entered in the contact form is therefore processed exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 Sec. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can withdraw this consent at any time. An informal e-mail sent to us is sufficient. The legality of the data processing activities carried out prior to withdrawal remains unaffected by the withdrawal.

We will retain the data you entered in the contact form until you ask us to delete them, withdraw your consent to their storage or the purpose for which the data are stored no longer exists (e.g. after processing of your enquiry has been completed). Mandatory legal provisions – particularly retention periods – remain unaffected.

5. Analysis tools and advertising

Google AdWords and Google conversion tracking:

This website uses Google AdWords. AdWords is an online advertising program of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States (‘Google’).

We use conversion tracking in the context of Google AdWords. If you click on an advert placed by Google, a cookie for conversion tracking is set. Cookies are small text files that the web browser places on the user’s computer. These cookies become invalid after 30 days and are not used to personally identify the user. If the user visits certain pages on this website and the cookie has yet to expire, we and Google can detect that the user clicked on the advert and was transferred to this site.

Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. The cookies cannot be tracked via the websites of AdWords customers. The information gather using the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. The customers can determine the total number of users who have clicked on their advert and were linked to a site with a conversion tracking tag enabled. However, they do not obtain any information that can be used to personally identify users. If you do not wish to participate in tracking, you can reject this use by simply disabling the Google conversion tracking cookie via the user settings in your web browser. Then you will not be included in the conversion tracking statistics.

The conversion cookies are stored and this tracking tool is used on the basis of Art. 6 Sec. 1 lit. f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in analysing user behaviour in order to optimise their website as well as their advertising.

Further information on Google AdWords and Google conversion tracking can be found in Google’s privacy policy and terms of service: https://policies.google.com/terms?hl=en-GB

You can configure your browser so you are notified when cookies are set and allow cookies only in individual cases, refuse to accept cookies for certain cases or in general, as well as have cookies automatically deleted when you close the browser. Disabling cookies can limit the functionality of this website.
